Sustainability Procurement
As a responsible contractor it is in our best interests both from the point of the environment and best value to harness good working practice, minimise waste and investigate environmentally friendly products. It’s important to ensure environmental, including climate change, criteria are taken into account in the procurement of goods and services. In order to comply as a minimum with all relevant environmental legislation as well as other environmental requirements to which the firm subscribes.
Waste Management
When disposing or recycling of any materials from site, Planet Interiors ensure that The Environmental Protection (Duty of Care) Regulations 1991 are adhered to at all times. We believe in simply creating less waste, as opposed to having special arrangements for waste disposal. When the production of waste in unavoidable we look to investigate local environmental activities where such materials might be reused or recycled prior to waste disposal.
We are delighted to have been awarded ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 accreditations. We are actively working towards how we reduce our environmental impact on carrying out our projects and our day-to-day activities.
